How to use the internet to their advantage of posting awareness through the graphs and discussions. By connecting with students around the world, they are able to learn to appreciate, understand, as well as critically critique what others are saying based on their research.
Science:
The 21st century skills that would be the internet, blogs, podcasts, medical online journals, virtual laboratories. Students will be asked to do various research online to find out worksite regulations, drug ingredients and dosages. Then observe pharmaceutical/medical virtual laboratories to become familiar with techniques performed by professionals.
Social Studies: Students will use the internet to view podcasts, blogs, wikis, and postings on youtube. They will also research information online about existing projects and coalitions advocating against harsh work environments children have endured - this includes investigating documented stories of child labor abuse, muckrackers, and protests..

The group will put their videos on the wiki and internet to further promote the ending of detrimental labor laws or lack of labor laws. Students will also use power point presenations to demonstrate their understanding of literary works and how they correlate with working class struggles.
